Everyone who uses a notebook has experience with an external screen. Depending on the requirements, different display modes are used. This time we’re going to talk about some of the details about “extended” mode.
(PS: Through
key + P can call up the external Display Option)
The extension mode is to extend the desktop to an external monitor, which is equivalent to expanding the desktop area and having “two desktop”. By default, the external monitor is set to the right of the main screen, and when you move the mouse over the right edge of the main screen, you can reach the external monitor.
But in practice, because of the different arrangement of equipment on each desk, sometimes the external screen is placed on the left side of the main screen, but the default Setup extension screen on the system is on the right, so you will want to move the window to the left side of the screen, but you want to pull this window to the right situation.
So we can adjust the position distribution of the extended screen by doing the following steps:
1.Right-click on the desktop blank and select “Screen resolution”
2.In the following window, drag the external screen (2nd) to the left of the main screen (screen 1th), click OK.
3.Now we’re going to move a window to the left and we can go to the expansion screen.
You also can set the extended screen to the top of the main screen, depending on your use habits.
See you next week.
